How do you usually feel on the next morning after a great Festival?
Tired, inspired, grateful? That's me after this year's Carlow Fringe Arts Festival for sure.
I must say this year's Carlow Fringe was superb! It had all they main components to be succesfull and it was.
Extraordinary program packed with various events including painting and photography exhibitions, unique crafts, design and music to mention a few.
It all wouldn't be possible without dedicated organizers, volunteers, artists and sponsors.
The weather was spectacular with rarely a cloud in the sky! People traveled and came out, celebrated art and enjoyed the atmosphere in the town.
Looking at Threadscapes the viewer may notice and reflect on the fundamental things in life. The pieces bring to mind rural landscape, traditional hand craft or perhaps and aerial photo of Ring fort. Threadscape would make an ideal anniversary, retirement, birthday or house warming gift, while also you can always treat yourself no need for special occasion. I have a selection ready made Threadscapes Here but I'm open to custom orders too.
Earrings to add a colour and joy to your outfit. Lightweight & easy to wear. Have a look Here if you are still looking for that perfect Summer pair!
I truly enjoyed the festival being both participating artist and of course a visitor too. Sharing the Pop -Up Gallery space with wonderful artists Rennie Buneting and Paul Byrne Nesting Doll Art Exhibition on Tullow Street during the festival week was magical!
Ok, I know it might sound cheesy but the energy our work created in the space was very special and I must admit that our visitors felt it too.
I'm very excited to relieve many ladies have now at least one new colour and quirkiness infused pair of earrings for their Summer feeling. I actually sold out of Midnight Blue and Red Petal Earrings but no panic, will be making more of them this week.
